Cybersecurity and space infrastructure are increasingly converging and this week we had the opportunity to demonstrate exactly that at the opening of Deloitte’s NextGen #Greenhouse in Düsseldorf 📡 🚀 🛰️

Together with the Cyber team at Deloitte Germany and the team of CISPA Helmholtz-Zentrum für Informationssicherheit, we presented a live demonstration combining: • Deloitte’s intrusion detection system Silent Shield • The #Honeysat framework for small satellites developed at CISPA • Our CyBER OBC onboard computer for the #CISPAsat mission

The live setup demonstrated practical cybersecurity use cases in a realistic scenario. It was great to see so many discussions around resilient infrastructures, secure onboard systems and the growing importance of cyber resilience for future space missions and critical systems.

A big thank you to #Deloitte and CISPA for the excellent collaboration and for bringing together experts from cybersecurity, AI, critical infrastructure and space technology in such an inspiring setting.

It was also a pleasure to meet astronaut Prof. Ulrich Walter again and hear his insightful perspectives on current developments in space and technology.

For those interested in the broader topic of space security and resilience, Deloitte recently published an excellent whitepaper (German): https://lnkd.in/dturWJDs

The event sparked many interesting discussions around cyber resilience, secure onboard systems, critical infrastructure and future space missions by highlighting how closely cybersecurity and space infrastructure are increasingly connected.

Many thanks to all partners involved for the great collaboration, inspiring exchange and very positive atmosphere throughout the event.

It was also great meeting Prof. Ulrich Walter again and hearing his insightful perspectives on current developments in space and technology.
