Product Overview

The Galactic EPS is a flight-proven, high-efficiency power management system designed for modern CubeSat and small satellite missions. It combines intelligent power distribution, solar array management, and redundant architecture to support missions where reliability, efficiency, and long-term power availability are critical.

Developed by Quantum Galactics, the Galactic EPS enables satellite operators, research institutions, and NewSpace companies to deploy robust, high-performance power systems. We utilize open-source software and standardized interfaces, without vendor lock-in.

This enables reliable power delivery for all subsystems and throughout the mission lifetime.

Reliability by Design

Reliability is not an add-on. It is embedded at every level: redundant power paths, fault detection and isolation, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, battery health monitoring, autonomous power management, and fault recovery. The Galactic EPS protects spacecraft power systems from launch to end-of-life.

Safety features are built in: redundant circuits with over-/undervoltage, overload, and overheating protection, plus monitoring of all vital parameters. These safeguards reduce the risk of failures and extend mission lifetime.

Passivation & Zero Debris

End-of-life behaviour is compatible with the UN Zero Debris Charter and space debris mitigation: battery systems in orbit must not become a source of debris (e.g. through explosion or fragmentation).

Thanks to our in-house developed, flight-proven system, we can ensure complete and safe discharge and long-term passivation of the battery system on command at end-of-life. This capability to safely passivate the power system is something many other manufacturers cannot offer.
